How to play:
Each participant receives 6 questions.
The participant has to answer 3 consecutive questions correctly, which leads to a Hattrick.
Greater the number of Hattricks, higher the score.
In case of a tie on points, the user scoring the points in the least time will be declared the winner.
This Offer is being made purely on a “best effort” basis and participation of eligible Subscribers is voluntary.
The Subscriber hereby further understands and agrees that the Organizers shall be solely responsible for inter-alia the selection of the winners and delivery of the prizes.
The organizers are neither responsible nor guarantees the quality of the goods/ services being offered as prizes nor is liable for any defect or deficiency of goods or services so obtained/availed, by the Subscribers under this Contest.
Income tax, gift tax or any other statutory taxes, duties or levies as may be applicable from time to time, arising out of free Prize/s, shall be payable by the Winner/s of the respective prize/s. In case the Winner fails to comply with the applicable law/s, the Organizers will be entitled to select another winner at their own discretion.
Incase the prize is worth more than Rs. 5,000/- in value, it will attract deduction of tax at source @ about 33.99% as per Section 194 B of the Income Tax Act 1961 or as applicable from time to time.
The winners will be requisitioned to pay for the TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) applicable for their prizes as applicable. If the winner does not agree to comply with the said requisition and pay the TDS amount, an alternative winner who agrees to pay the TDS will be chosen. Prior payment of the TDS to the government authority and submission of proof thereof to Web18 shall be a condition precedent for delivery of prizes to the Winners.
The prize(s) under the Contest is neither assignable nor transferable under any circumstances.
All the prizes shall be subject to such other terms and conditions as may be applicable to specific prizes and shall have to be duly complied with by the respective winners.
The prize(s) to the winner/s shall be given subject to compliance with all applicable statutory legislations/ processes /formalities in connection with the prize(s) and on production all such documents/papers as required by Organizers before accepting the delivery of the prize. Any failure on the part of the winner to comply with directions issued by Organizers for claim of prize shall entitle Organizers to forfeit the prize(s).
Registration, Insurance, any other applicable taxes in respect of the prize would be borne by the Winner.
All incidental costs/taxes/levies related to the prize(s) shall be exclusively borne by the Winner/s.
The employees of Network18, its group companies, vendors, and affiliate or associate companies shall not be eligible to participate in this Offer.
The Subscriber hereby agrees and undertakes not to hold Network18 and/or any of their group entities or affiliates, their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, vendors, responsible for or liable for, any actions, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, charges and expenses that the Subscriber may/might have suffered, sustained or incurred, or claims to suffer, sustain or incur, by way of and /or on account of the Contest.
The Organizers shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that may be suffered, or for any personal loss or injury that may be suffered (including loss of life), to a Subscriber and/or any third party, directly or indirectly, by use or non-use of the prize.
The prize(s) must be claimed within 30 days of receiving the intimation from Organizers failing which Organizers reserve the right to forfeit the same.
This Contest cannot be used in conjunction with any alternative offer or promotion/ contest.
This Contest is subject to force maejure circumstances i.e. Act of God or any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Organiszers.
The Contest is valid subject to compliance with all formalities as required by the Organizers. Any failure on the part of the subscriber to comply with the specified formalities shall disqualify the Subscriber.
This Contest is subject to guidelines/ directions issued by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India or any other statutory authority from time to time.
The decision of the Organizers in respect of all transactions under this offer shall be final and binding.
The Organizers have the right to extend, cancel, discontinue, prematurely withdraw, change, alter or modify this offer or any part thereof including the eligibility criteria at its sole discretion at anytime during it’s validity as may be required in view of business exigencies and/or changes by regulatory authority and/or statutory changes and the same shall be binding on the Subscriber.
The Terms & Conditions are subject to Indian Law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts in Mumbai.
Participation in this promotion implies acceptance of all the terms and conditions of the Contest. Acceptance of the Prize/s by the winner constitutes permission for Web18, and its affiliates to click photographs of the Winner/s and use the Winner's name, photographs, likeness, voice and comments for advertising and promotional purposes in any media worldwide for purposes of advertising and trade without any additional compensation whatsoever.
